Technology
It’s very, very simple from an implementation and deployment standpoint. There are no process flow sheet changes from existing extraction methods. The process can be utilised for treating: (i) copper ores, slag or tailings for extraction of copper alone, (ii) cobalt ores, slag and tailings for extraction of cobalt alone and (iii) copper and cobalt ores, slag or tailings for extraction of copper and cobalt. There is no existing technology that has been developed to be economically viable to extract copper and cobalt from a multitude of different materials.
